Foster, Kentucky sits along the Ohio River in Bracken County. As of 2010, the population was 44 residents. Foster is located 12 miles northwest of Augusta, Kentucky.

Foster was founded in 1847 and originally named Fosters Landing. It was named for landowner Israel Foster.

Transportation

Foster is on Route 8 along the Ohio River. Nearby AA Highway (Route 9) offers quick access to Alexandria, Kentucky.

Hospitals

Major hospitals are located 30 miles northwest of Foster. St. Elizabeth and Children’s Outpatient Northern Kentucky are in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
